A fun one-day event, the format of which is dependent on the number of entrants. Sponsored by the Club.
28 September 2008 - President’s Trophy
A one-day competition, except for the final which is played on the Finals Weekend. It is a 4 bowls singles game with the entrants split into two groups, one group playing while the other “rests”. The groups are split in to mini-groups of 4 players. Each player will play everyone in their mini-group on a “round-robin” basis. Each game is of 5 ends or 30 minutes. Each member of the mini-group takes a turn at marking for 2 others.

October 2008 - Shirley and Ivan National League
Start date for this competition. This is a national competition involving all the clubs in Cyprus. Two teams of triples from each club play, home and away, on the same day and at the same time.
7 October 2008 - Chauvinist Cup.
A one-day Ladies v. Gents competition. Teams of Full Rinks, Triples, and 4 bowls and 2 bowls Pairs play a Gents team. Sponsored by Club Members Mike & Pauline Pooley
7 & 9 November 2008 - Classic Shield & Classic Plate.
Two 4 bowls mixed singles competitions. These are knock-out competitions with matches consisting of 2 sets of 7 ends with a third tie-break set if necessary. Both trophies were donated by Club Member Martin McMillan.
Those players eliminated in the first round of the Classic Shield will play for the Classic Plate on the same basis as the Classic Shield. The later stages of these competitions may take place on Sunday 9 November 2008.
6 & 7 December 2008 - Finals Weekend
The Finals of the above knock-out competitions will be played.
